Vannathupoochi (Butterfly) a song, a concert, an album is an exclusive effort to create an awareness on Child Labour amongst the Church goers and the public at large. Today we see many small children employed on homes, factories, restaurants, mechanic shops and other places of manual labour which is heart rending siht. When my children and yours are going to school, there is a great multitude of small children who are working for their meal for the day. As Bible says, it is our responsibility my friend, to feed, clothe and shelter these forsaken ones for the Glory of our Lord Jesus Christ. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ, Greetings, As well meaning Christians we have always ensured that our spiritual walk is upright. But, seldom have we moved from the walls of our own world. Take a peek into the world that is raw and hurting, especially to little children who have ransomed their childhood for a livelihood. Open Your eyes, see those little children who ache for their mothers love, looking after your children when you are away to work. Or for that matter, the ones who are washing clothes when your children are wearing uniforms to school. "It is heart wrenching to see the plight of these little ones who have to soar into the open sky like butterfly is caged in a cocoon of hard labour. Yes India has an astounding 12 million children under the bondage of child labour
