*note: This is the one-and-only time this concert was ever broadcast on TV, on Channel 4 in the UK. The date of the TV broadcast was on Saturday 15th July - a day immediately after the original concert date of 14th July - and therefore has become to be known as "the quick edit" of the concert. This is because there are many issues with the broadcast that had a "quick fix" for this TV broadcast, before being completely re-edited for the concert's ONLY ever official release on Laserdisc; a format that, before DVD, was looking to become quite popular. That was until DVD took over the format race. Unfortunately this concert has NEVER been officially released on any other format other than Laserdisc, and again was only ever released in France (although the Laserdisc was in PAL and not SECAM). Noteable differences between the TV edit and the official Laserdisc can be minimal at times (for example, the Laserdisc has no cuts for advert breaks), but some major differences can be seen. For example, at the start of the concert for the countdown, for the TV edit, we get to "3", number "2" (deux) is NOT announced), Une "1" is quickly announced followed by a sharp "ZERO!"... and then again a few seconds later of another "ZERO!" (this was due to the timing of the flyover by the Patrouille de France (France's version of the UK's Red Arrows). The Laserdisc corrected this issue with a neat and clean countdown.
